Instagram 今日推出了一個新版本的應用程式 Instagram Lite。Instagram Lite 所佔的容量只有573 kilobytes，是原有版本的55分之一。除了不能使用分享影片及direct message 的功能外，Instagram Lite 的基本功能與Instagram 相同。這個版本的推出後，以往因為儲存空間不足或網絡速度等問題而無法下載Instagram的用戶現在也能使用Instagram，相信可為Instagram 帶來更多用戶。
